Ettersom utvikling og vedlikeholde av den gamle programvaren har stanset, så har det bare vært et tidsspørsmål den lokale Windows-utgaven av ProTeria frakt blir endelig avviklet. I første omgang har vi kontaktet kunder av Bring grunnet manglende støtte, men en ny oppdatering (beskrevet nedenfor) fra PostNord gjør at denne prosessen haster for deg som benytter PostNord, om du også vil skrive ut PostNord etiketter på nyåret.

NY DPD ruting koder fra 1 Januar 2021
DPD has developed a new routing database, GeoRouting DB, that will replace the one in use currently, BIC7. The reasons for this are several:

The reasons for this are several:

  • A need to identify the business unit via the depot code, since there in some countries are more than one business unit handling the goods. This means that the depot code will contain 7 instead of 4 characters.

  • The above-mentioned change also solves the issue with lack of available depot codes

  • A lack of service codes.


    Advantages for you as a user is that:

  • The new database is made available via different interfaces.

  • The new database is built in a way that allows it to be updated more frequently and hence be more accurate. At the same time this will be managed in the background when using most of the new interfaces.
